The OpenCORE code base is hosted at android.git.kernel.org along with the rest of the android platform. PacketVideo will typically push updates from its internal tree to kernel.org on a weekly basis. These updates should be considered bleeding edge development. However, they have undergone an extensive weekly test cycle. PacketVideo also utilizes a continuous integration process, so there will rarely be any build breaks after the weekly commits. In between the weekly commits there is likely to be more instability. Finally, PacketVideo will periodically tag releases in the opencore repository indicating stable points. These points also typically include new features which are documented in an updated ChangeLog file.
